Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! I have been working on various assignments ALL DAY and I am so stressed, tired, and frustrated!!!!!!!!!
My day started off with my 2 year old hanging all over me because her bubbas had spent the night with their Mimi and Papa and Daddy was at work. Finally daddy got home and she went to him for a while. I decided to then try to tackle deciding on a movie theme. I decided to do a movie about "Family" because that is something that we study at the beginning of the year in Kindergarten. Well I got started immediately on importing photos that I wanted to use into Windows Movie Maker.......my computer is so full of various things that I have downloaded alot of my photos to cd's so I spent alot of time going through cd's to find pictures that I wanted to use. A little bit into my imports I noticed these red x's where pictures were supposed to be (ahhhhhhhhhhhhh). I had been importing pictures straight from the cd's to the project and once the cd was removed so was the pictures!!!!!!!! So I had to go back and find those photos again and save them to a file on my computer.......it took forever to get all my photos together!!!!!!!!
This evening I finally got all my photos together and placed on the storyboard. At first it looked as though my movie would be between 8 & 9 minutes (ooopppps) so I went back and took out what photos I could stand to part with :( I worked it down to where it is a little over 7 minutes at this point.
Now my bright idea is to have my 8 year old son narrate the movie and tell it from his perspective, so I wrote him a script. He and his bubba are spending the night again with their Mimi and Papa so I won't get to work on that with him any until tomorrow after church. (We will see how this bright idea turns out :)
On to my next problem, I took a break from my photo hunt this afternoon and began working on my dicussion questions.......well that didn't last very long because part of the questions center around my webquest (which is non-existent at this point). So I had to stop working on my discussion questions and I was so frustrated at that point that I took a short nap!!!!!!!!!
After my nap I finished putting my photos together for my movie and actually wrote out the script for my son. Then I began to tackle the task of creating a webquest (which again frustrated me when I read that it would be deleted in August). I got that set up and decided that I would do something easy and enter my standards. I have my lesson plan books from the last few years and had the frameworks written in or at least the numbers but not the descriptions. So I went to the Arkansas Department of Education website to get the descriptions for my frameworks and found out that some of my frameworks no longer exist due to revisions.......Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! And to think that I thought I was doing so good using my lesson plans, which apparently had the old frameworks listed.
Now it is a little after mid-night thirty (but when I post this will show some other time, I can't explain the clock posting on my blogs because it is never right??) and I have not ate any supper. My husband and daughter have gone to bed and I spent next to no time with them today, I barely even left my computer and yet I am still so stressed about trying to get everything completed on time.
I just can't stay up all night tonight to work on it because I don't want to be exhausted when I get up and go to church tomorrow. So I guess I will fix me a bite to eat and then call it a night. And as soon as I get in from church tomorrow I will begin on my stressful, tiring, and frustrating afternoon with homework assignments!!!!!
